Helping a friend.
I have a friend that works with unwed mothers that are or have given their babies up for adoption she want something to give the girls at different times as they go through this experience. We have been using up a lot of my retired Designer Series Paper making ribbon pulled wrapped chocolate bars(google it if you don't know what these are) We have been making takes to go on them as well. Here are two of the tags we made.
We also made birthday tags but I didn't get pictures of them. We made about fifty of them.
We also made birthday tags but I didn't get pictures of them. We made about fifty of them.
- This tag starts with Naturals Ivory CS for the tag.
- I used markers to color the stamp from Postage Due and then stamped it on the tag.
- The phrase from Blessings From Heaven was stamped in Raspberry Ripple and added to the tag
- This tag is Naturals White CS
- The flowers from Elements of Style was stamped with Elegant Eggplant.
- On a scrap of Naturals White I stamped the phrase from a past Sale a bration set in Crushed Curry and punched it with the Curly Label Punch, then sponged Garden Green around the edges and popped it up with Dimensionals.
So that is what I've been working on lately. What are you creating?

CASEing from Pinterest
Yesterday I saw a card on Pinterest that I liked, it wasn't made with Stampin' UP! products and since that is all I use I CASEd it using SU products. Here is a link to the card I CASEd and here is my card.
- The card base is Crumb Cake with the thanks from the Sale a bration set Vintage Verses stamped in Rose Red.
- Three of the tags are made from DSP the smallest one and the largest one are from Fan Fair and the top one is from Natural Composition Specialty DSP I sponged Rose Red on the paper to make it match the look I was going for.
- The last tag is Naturals White CS stamped with the stamp from Postage Due I inked in Crumb Cake and the added more color with Regal Rose, Primrose Petals, River Rock and Soft Suede markers.
- I embellished it with a combination of items. The lace and flower are from the Artisan Embellishment Kit, the button is from the Brights Designer Buttons, the brad is from the Antique Brads and I used Pearls from both sets of Pearl Jewels.
So that is my CASE what do you think?

Postage Due
A couple of the ladies that come over to stamped came the other day. They made this card.
The directions for the card layers are in this post.
The directions for the card layers are in this post.
- The base and stamped layers are Very Vanilla.
- The mats are Not Quite Navy.
- The colors of ink used are: Marina Mist, Cajun Craze, Not Quite Navy and More Mustard.
- The sentiments are laying on the cards not yet attached the are from Petite Pairs and fit in the 1" Square Punch that layers onto the Postage Stamp Punch. I think I will sponge the edges when I decide what phrase to use.
These cards are fun to make.

Postage Due- a CASE
CASEing is something I do on occasion sometimes, like after a summer of not being able to stamp I find stamping hard to do. So the next few cards I blog will be cards I CASEd while waiting for my mojo to come back. One of my favorite people I go to for inspiration is Leeann at Wee Inklings so that is where I went.
The card I CASEd is here.
- The card base is Crumb Cake. I inked up the stamp from Postage Due with Crumb Cake and stamped it twice on the base.
- I went to my scraps and pull two pieces from the DSP Fan Fair. I found a piece of Riding Hood Red that had be embossed with the Argyle Embossing Folder and I narrow strip of Island Indigo that had been embossed with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. So those two pieces of CS along with a piece of DSP (the map) from Fan Fair were layered on the left side of the card covering where there wasn't any ink.
- I stamped the postage stamp images from the same set in More Mustard, Island Indigo and Riding Hood Red and punched them out with the Postage Stamp Punch. The More Mustard stamps are adhered directly to the front while the other three are popped up with Dimensionals.
This is another card I left without a sentiment. So there you are, one of the cards I CASEd waiting for my mojo to return.
Remember I am giving away blog candy so check the top of the page for details.
