WWC198 - Gail's "All About Holidays" Challenge

Gail is the host of our challenge this week!
I have seen cards on Pinterest that were similar to this and inspired me to create this one.
My candles are made from DSP and cardstock. I sprayed a piece of Whisper White with a mixture of Frost Shimmer Paint and rubbing alcohol I ran it through the Big Shot in the Corrugated Embossing Folder. When I tried the folder on the DSP it tore it to pieces so I used plan B. I pulled out my crimper and ran it through it to get the corrugated look.

The flames are Daffodil Delight Cardstock sprayed with the Frost Shimmer Spray. I cut the flames with the Broadway Lights Framelits.

I used the pine branches from the Christmas Staircase Framelits and Red Rhinestones to decorated the bases of the candles.

The sentiment is from Star of Light.

WWC197 - Kath's Masculine "Anything Goes" Challenge

I am hosting the challenge this week!

I hadn't planned on this being my masculine challenge piece m=but my son and his friends stopped in shortly after I made it and all of them thought it was "so cool". I'm using up DSP and am happy that the Framelits that went with Signs of Santa matched the Santa's Workshop DSP. Some of the images still had to be fussy cut but many don't. The Signs of Santa sweet was so popular that sadly most of it is no longer orderable.  Sadly the framelit sold out this week and the stamp set and DSP are still available you would need to fussy cut them

I love how this folds flat to fit into an envelope!

WWC196 - Heidi's "All About Occasions" Challenge

Heidi is our challenge host this week!
I have a confession to make! My card really shouldn't be a Christmas card but I am having Fun Friday & Super Saturday this week 12 hours each day of paper crafting with 25 shoe boxes of cards to make, most Christmas but some occasions too. I planned on this card for my card buffet but had made a banner that said Happy Birthday to show how versatile it is. I photographed it and then glued on the Christmas one and then I noticed it...
Yup, a Dimensional back in the center of the trees. So That is why it is a Christmas card.
I combined an old favorite, a retired stamp set and a new stamp set. Lovely as a Tree, Santa's Sleigh and Dashing Deer Bundle.

The trees and ground have Dazzling Diamonds as snow.
