Ornament Keepsakes

Remember this card from this post? I made it again but changed up the colors.

  • The card base is Real Red, the front is Whisper White sprayed with Frost Shimmer Paint spray, ran through the Big Shot with the Petals a Plenty Embossing Folder.
  • If you watched the video I plainly changed the fell of the card. I used Real Red with the En Francais  stamp and Gumball Green on the Ornament Keepsakes ornament.
  • I layered the image on Gumball Green.
These cards work up real fast and are fun to make.

Here is a non stamping project that I have just finished working on.

Christmas Lodge

Before I start showing our swaps I wanted to share this card. Sadly my photos rarely do justice to the cards I show.

  • The card base is Cherry Cobbler with a front of the DSP Candlelight Christmas.
  • I sprayed a piece of Early Espresso CS with Champagne Shimmer Paint spray the stamped the tree from Christmas Lodge with Versamark and heat embossed it with Pewter Embossing Powder. I layered it on Garden Green.
  • On a strip of Very Vanilla I stamped the phrase from the same stamp set with Versamark and heat embossed it with Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder that had a bit of Dazzling Diamonds mixed in it to add some sparkle to the card. I snipped the ends of the strip and then sponged the edges with Cherry Cobbler Ink. and popped it up with Dimensionals.

Have a wonderful day!

Swapping!

So my blog hopping buddies and I swap cards as well. Here is the card that I sent out. We usually send 4" x 5 1/4" fronts, without even thinking I made full cards :).

  • My card base is Real Red CS.
  • The front is Whisper White CS that was ran through the Big Shot with the Petals a Plenty Embossing Folder but first I inked up the folder with Illuminate Glimmer Watermark Ink by directly pouncing onto the inside of the folder, it made a subtle shimmer/glimmer between the flowers.
  • I stamped the Heart of Christmas stamp with Versamark on to Real Red CS and heat embossed it with White Embossing Powder. I then cut it out with the Window Frame Framelit, I popped it up on the card frount with Dimensionals.
  • I added two of the largest and two medium Rhinestone to make it sparkle.
I be showing the swaps I receive so that you ca enjoy them too!

Christmas Lodge

Here is a card I CASEd from Pinterest sadly even though I thought I had pinned it it seems I didn't.

  • The base is 4 1/4" x 8" folded at 5 1/2", the small side was ran through the Big Shot with the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder. I cut a strip of Early Espresso CS and punched it with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch I adhered it to the inside of the front piece.
  • On the inside of the card I used Early Espresso CS sprayed with Champagne Shimmer Paint Spray, cut at 4" x 5 1/4". Very Vanilla cut at 3 3/4" x 5" CS I stamped the tree from Christmas Lodge with Versamark and heat embossed with Clear embossing powder. I sponged Crumb Cake around the tree to make it stand out.
  • On the the front on another piece of Very Vanilla CS I sis the house the same as the tree. I layered it on Early Espresso CS that had been sprayed with Champagne Shimmer Paint spray.
  • I cut the two smallest snowflakes on the Snow Flurry Bigz Die in Very Vanilla CS, layered them on each other and added a Large Pearl to the center an layered it on the front of the card.

Llama Fall-idays Christmas Blog Hop

Welcome to the Llama Blog Hop, if you are here before 7 pm mountain the others may not have posted(I have a scout round table at that time and auto post didn't work last time).  You may have arrived from Kathe's Blog and I am sure you were inspired. If at anytime you come across a broken link you can find your way with links from our Home Blog.

My first card is a semi-CASE of a card from the Holiday Catalog(see page 7)

  • The card base is Whisper White with a front of Cherry Cobbler Core’dinations Card Stock  that was run though the Big Shot in the Holiday Frame Embossing Folder and then lightly sanded.
  • On a scrap of Whisper White I stamped the the oval from Joyous Celebrations in Cherry Cobbler, then punched it out with the Wide Oval punch. I stamped the mistletoe from the same set at the top of the oval in Gumball Green and added the smallest of the Pearls to it. On another scrap of Whisper White I stamped the bow with Cherry Cobbler and and hand cut and popped over the mistletoe and then popped the oval up with Dimensionals in the center of the card front.
  • The phrase was stamped in Gumball Green on Whisper White and cut out with the Bitty Banners Framelite. I curled the ends with a Bone Folder and added it to the card.
My second card uses Winter Memories.

  • The card base is Real Red with a front of Whisper White that was run through the Big Shot in the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder.
  • I stamped the image with Stazon onto Watercolor paper and colored it with Ink and an Aqua Painter. I layered it onto a piece of Real Red and layered it onto the card front.
I hope you enjoyed my cards, your next stop is Linda's blog

Snowflake Ornament

I made this a couple of months ago and then forgot to post it, but here it is now.

  • I cut four of the largest snowflakes out of the Silver Glimmer Paper.
  • I folded each of the snowflakes in half then glued them together to make a 3 dimensional snowflake.
  • A piece of bakers twine was used as a hanger

Winter Memories

I saw this card  http://pinterest.com/pin/260997740876485873/ and had to CASE it. I only made very slight changes.

  • The card base is Crumb Cake with a front cut in the same color. I stamped the image from Winter Memories in Midnight Muse and then ran it through Big Shot in the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder. I sponged the edges of the front with White Craft Ink.
  • I attached a strip of Midnight Muse ribbon to the bottom of the front then a strip of Very Vanilla CS with the phrase stamped in Midnight Muse.
  • The snow flakes are the smallest ones from the Snow Flurry Die, one in Very Vanilla and one in Siver Glimmer Paper I centered a Rhinestone on it.
  • The front was popped up with Dimensionals on the card base.
I hope that you have a great day and find some time to stamp.
