Watercooler Wednesday Challenge 129 - Libby's All About Christmas Challenge

Libby is hosting our Challenge this week!
It is All About Christmas.

I give around 100 or more Christmas cards each year, it helps if I start making them early so this is a perfect challenge to help me get some done.

I love the stamp set Star of Light! I wish the photo really showed how beautiful this card turned out.
I used Night of Navy Cardstock for the base with a layer of Whisper White Cardstock. I sponged a piece of Glossy White Cardstock with Dapper Denim, Night of Navy and Elegant Eggplant inks, after buffing and heat setting the inks I heat embossed the swirl and greeting with White Embossing Powder. I cut a piece of White Glimmer Paper with the Starlight Thinlits popping it up with thin strips of Dimensionals.

Watercooler Wednesday Challenge 128 - Heidi's Masculine "Anything Goes" Challenge

Heidi is hosting this weeks challenge, I love when we have a masculine, they are a little harder to do and we always seem to need cards for many different occasions. I left the sentiment off the front and then I will be able to add one to the inside when I have occasion to need a masculine card.
This is a fast and simple card and will be available in this week stamp classes.

The base is Thick Very Vanilla Cardstock and the ovals are Early Espresso and Very Vanilla. I love the DSP it is one from Wood Textures DSP Stack, I love this stack of paper the colors in the woods are so rich!
The image is from Heartland Stamp Set stamped in Early Espresso Ink.

Heartland

I really like the stamp set Heartland, I love the country images.
The card stock used is Thick Very Vanilla, Pool Party, and Shimmery White.  I stamped the barn image in the upper left corner of the Shimmery White CS with Basic Gray Ink. I love using Basic Gray for watercoloring so much I don't even pull black out any more. The tractor was stamped on a scrap piece of Shimmery White. I used Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen to color the images. The tractor was cut out with Layering Circle Framelits and popped up with Dimensionals
