  • I made two banners from two more pieces of Modern Melody DSP layering one on Basic Black CS and one on Real Red CS.
  • I made mini banners from Basic Black and Very Vanilla CS using the Bitty Banners Framelits.
  • I stamped the sentiment from Delightful Dozen in Real Red onto Very Vanilla CS I cut it out with the Circle Framelits. I cut the next larger Circle from Basic Black CS.

Rev Up the Fun!

  • The card base is Whisper White CS.
  • I ran a 4" x 3 1/4" Baked Brown Sugar CS through the Big Shot in the Houndstooth Embossing Folder I attached it to a 4" x 3" piece of Whisper White over lapping them so that the finished size was 4" x 5 1/4" Front for the card base.
  • I inked up the car from Rev Up the Fun with Real Red and the colored the wheels with the Black Marker. I used a Q-tip to remove the red from the hub caps and colored them Smoky Slate, I then stamped it on the White Panel. I inked up the phrase with Pacific Point and stamped it under the car.
  • I stamped the banner from Hearts a Flutter once in Real Red, twice in Pacific Point stamping the on Whisper White CS and cutting them with the Hearts a Flutter Framelit. I made narrow banner from Daffodil Delight CS. I stamped the tread mark twice on a strip of Whisper White and attached the banners to it.
  • I punched an opening in the Baked Brown Sugar CS then layer it over the card base and using Real Red Ink I stamped the greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes. I the added Dimensional to the back of the Front and added it to the base.
I thought that the card turned out to be a fun Boy/Man Birthday card.

I have started updating my fall class schedule so make sure you check out the class tab at the top of the blog.

Swallowtail

Here is the second card I made with the Emboss Resist Technique.

  • The card is Whisper White CS I stamped the Swallowtail in Versamark on the front of the card and Heat Embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder.
  • I used a Sponge Dauber and Pistachio Ink to bring out the butterflies details.
  • On a scrap of Whisper White CS I stamped the sentiment from Blooming With Kindness and then ran it through the Bid Shot cutting it out with Chalk Talk Framelit(I trimmed the top and bottom off with the paper trimmer so that it was framed evenly).
  • I popped the sentiment up with Dimensionals then added a Old Olive Candy Dot above the sentiment.
Another fast and easy card!

Blooming With Kindness

I had about an hour to stamp yesterday, I decided to do Emboss Resist.
  • On a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Whisper White CS I stamped the flower from Blooming with Kindness in Versamark and heat embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder.
  • With Sponge Daubers I swirled Crisp Cantaloupe Ink over the flower and Pistachio Pudding over the stem.
  • I used markers in the matching colors to ink up the sentiment from that same set and stamped it in the upper corner.
  • I rounded the corners with the corner punch and then added Dimensionals to the back and popped it up on a Whisper White card base.

It was fast and easy and the first time I have used those two In colors.

  • I cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler CS as a banner flag.
  • I stamped the phrase from the Hostess set Express Yourself in Cherry Cobbler on a strip of Very Vanilla CS, then cut it as a banner flag.

  • The card base is Whisper White, I ran it through the Big Shot cutting an opening with the Labels Collection Framelits. I ran it through a second time in the Petals a Plenty Embossing Folder. I added a piece of Seasons of Style DSP on the inside of of the front of the card.
  • On the piece of Whisper White CS cut out from the front of the card I stamped the phrase from Christmas Messages found on page 34 of the Holiday catalog. I stamped it with Versamark and heat embossed it with a mixture of Cherry Cobbler EP mix with a little bit of Dazzling Diamonds to make it sparkle. I re-cut the piece with the next smaller Framelit.
