Artisan Embellishment Kit

With all the snow and freezing temperatures I went with Spring time colors for  this card. I combined products from  the Annual and Occasions catalogs.

Stamps: Papillon Potpourri & Sassy Salutations
Paper: Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz & crisp Cantaloup
Ink: Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz & Calypso Coral
Misc: Tea Time Doilies, Blushing Bride Cotton Ribbon, Blushing Bride Rosette trim, Die-cut card.

I used a die cut card from the Occasions Artisan Embellishment Kit as a stencil! I used a glue dot to add the rosette to the knot on the ribbon,

The Occasions catalog has a new Artisan Embellishment Kit. The description is "A fresh take on a past favorite! Kit contains 2 die-cut, double-sides Sahara Sand. white 3"x 4" cards, 18" Blushing Bride rosette trim, 1 yd Rose Red lace, 1 yd Blackberry Bliss thin velvet trim, 4 white doilies, 12 adhesive pearls, 1 lg metal flower button, 2 sm metal buttons, 2 clear buttons, 2 Blushing Bride resin flowers, 1 white resin flower"

Thank Heaven

A simple card for a little girl.  We made this card in my Cuddles and Kisses class. I suggested leaving the inside blank and waiting until it was needed to add a sentiment, I think it could be a baby card, a birthday card, a baptism card or a just because card.
  • The card base is Crumb Cake CS with the phrase from Cuddles and Kisses stamp on Melon Mamba stamped in the lower corner.
  • I ran two strips of Crumb Cake CS through the Big Shot cutting one edge with the Large Scallop Edgelit(you can run two layers through at a time) I then ran each strip through in the Delicate Designs Embossing Folder.
  • I ran a 3 1/8" strip of Melon Mamba CS through the Big Shot cutting both edges with the Edgelit.
  • I layer the Crumb Cake pieces onto the Melon Mamba piece and wrapped a strip of Melon Mamba Scallop Dot Ribbon over the seam.
  • The flower is Whisper White CS cut with the Blossom Party Die. the centers were punches from scraps of CS with the 1/2" circle punch and the circle punch from Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack. The leaves are from the Bird Builder Punch.
  • The butterfly from Papillon Potpourri was stamp in Melon Mamba on to Vellum CS and punched with the coordinating punch.
So there you have it, a cute card for a little girl.

As I mentioned in an earlier post I was helping a friend with her bulliton board at church, as well as making a document for and upcoming punch art class on flowers. Here are some pictures of the completed board.

CASEing Pintrest

I tried photographing this card a couple of times but could not get a good picture of it. I saw a card on Pintrest that was a one layer card the butterflies on it were not Stampin' UP!.

  • The card base is Naturals White.
  • I used a butterfly from Nature Walk and one from Papillon Potpourri. I stamped them along the right edge using Pool Party, Midnight Muse and Lucky Limeade inks.
  • The phrase is from Blooming with Kindness, stamped with Midnight Muse.
