Delightful Dozen

This is one of those cards that look so much better in real life then in a photo.

  • Card base is Naturals White with a front of Brushed Gold, then a layer of Cherry Cobbler then Very Vanilla with Champagne Shimmer Paint spray.
  • I ran a piece of sprayed Very Vanilla through the Big Shot using the Ovals die, I stamped the Christmas phrase from Delightful Dozen in Versamark and used the sparkly Cherry Cobbler embossing powder (yesterdays post) I sponged the edges of the oval with Soft Suede. The oval was popped up with Dimensionals.
Have a wonderful day!

Beautiful Season

This was a card that was in my card buffet.

  • Card base is Cherry Cobbler with a front of Whisper White sprayed with Frost Shimmer Paint spray, ran through the Big Shot with the Northern Flurry folder.
  • Using the Ovals Die I cut and oval from Watercolor paper and a larger one from Cherry Cobbler CS.
  • I stamped the image from Beautiful Season with Stazon onto the Watercolor Paper I colored the image with Watercolor Wonder Crayons and an Aqua Painter. I layered the image onto the Cherry Cobbler oval and added it to the card front.
  • Using Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green markers I inked up the phrase from the set and stamped it onto the card front.
Have a wonderful Day!

Class dates are as follows:

Let me know if you want to sign up for the classes.  Cost is $15 for 10 cards of one design each month.

School started today, time to do the happy dance.  I've been working on cards for a blog hop and am starting to remember how to stamp again.  I hope you are having a wonderful day!

Many Merry Messages- Fast and Simple

My daughter needed a few Christmas Cards fast, so this is what I came up with.
  • The card base is Whisper White with a front of Cherry Cobbler that was ran through the Big shot in the Northern Flurry folder.
  • I sprayed Whisper White with Frost Shimmer Paint spray and Cherry Cobbler with Champagne Shimmer Paint spray I rand them through the Big Shot using the Northern Frost Decorative strip. I attached the snowflakes onto the card front and used Rhinestone Jewels for the centers.
  • I stamped the phrase onto Whisper White using Cherry Cobbler and punched it out with the Decorative Label Punch and added it to the open area on the card front.
I had a great day yesterday for my birthday, it started at 5:50 am when my 14 year old son Trevor woke me up with breakfast in bed, a bacon and cheese omelet and toast. Unfortunately it had snowed 8" during the night and anyone that knows me knows I hate snow! I spent the whole day inside, I started rearranging my stamping studio trying to make it more user friendly. I also started designing cards for my Birthday Card Party on January 1 with a second class on Jan 5(look for more details soon). My daughters and one of my sister and her husband came for a birthday dinner cooked by a good friend(thanks Scott) and my kids.  All in all a good day to turn 49.

Moose for Christmas

My card inspiration came from Lynn Pratt http://creatingthehive.com/blog-post/44192/lovie-birthday-mooses
I was putting the moose on tags at first but I had an extra and added it to the card.
  • The card base is Whisper White with a front of Cherry Cobbler that I ran through the big shot with the Northern Flurry embossing folder.
  • I stamped the phrase from Many Merry Messages with White Craft ink onto the front.
  • For the wreath I punched a 1 1/4" circle into a piece of Garden Green CS and the punched the Scallop Circle around the hole I taped it onto the front and added pearls that I had colored red. The moose is Early Espresso with Crumb Cake for the rack, I popped him up with Dimensionals.
A big thanks to Lynn for her Moose!

Holiday Lineup-in blue

I have a hard time making one layer cards, but I keep trying them, I think I need to add a couple more blue and white snowflakes. . .
  • Whisper White is the base of  this card.  I ran the front half of this card through the Big Shot in the Northern Flurry folder, I wanted to stamp the image on the right side so the front had to be the debossed side.
  • I stamped the snowman from Holiday Lineup in Stazon onto the lower right side and colored it with ink pads and a blender pen. The only colors I used are Marina Mist and Pumpkin Pie.
  • I stamped the greeting from Four the Holidays in Marina Mist under the image.
  • I ran both Whisper White and Marina Mist CS through the Big Shot with the Northern Frost decorative strip. I sprayed the snow flakes with shimmer paint spray layered two of the and added it to the card with a Dimensional, I added a Rhinestone jewel to the center of the snowflake.
So that is my first one layer of the Holiday Season.  If you have made any one layer holiday cards leave a link in the comments and I'll check the out! (I made a one layer with Dasher that I'll post in the near future that might just be the Christmas card I do this year).

Have a great day and find some time to stamp!

Ok, I had some time today and went back and added more snowflakes. . . so which one do you like best?
