Winter Window

I have seen so many windows, doors, awnings and fireplaces as card fronts and I think they can make an interesting card, here is my window.

• The card base is Marina Mist.
• The phrase from Four the Holidays was stamped with Marina Mist on a Whisper White front that was then embossed with the Big Shot using the Snow Burst folder.
• The image was stamped on a square of Whisper White, I stamped the tree line from Lovely As A Tree near the top of the square and the sledding children from Welcome Christmas at the bottom. I the cut the square in half both directions.
• The window pane is a square of the wood grained DSP from Frostwood Lodge, I layered my 4 image squares on it and the added a small strip of DSP as the window sill.

I really the window card.

Holiday Lineup-in blue

I have a hard time making one layer cards, but I keep trying them, I think I need to add a couple more blue and white snowflakes. . .

• Whisper White is the base of  this card.  I ran the front half of this card through the Big Shot in the Northern Flurry folder, I wanted to stamp the image on the right side so the front had to be the debossed side.
• I stamped the snowman from Holiday Lineup in Stazon onto the lower right side and colored it with ink pads and a blender pen. The only colors I used are Marina Mist and Pumpkin Pie.
• I stamped the greeting from Four the Holidays in Marina Mist under the image.
• I ran both Whisper White and Marina Mist CS through the Big Shot with the Northern Frost decorative strip. I sprayed the snow flakes with shimmer paint spray layered two of the and added it to the card with a Dimensional, I added a Rhinestone jewel to the center of the snowflake.

Ok, I had some time today and went back and added more snowflakes. . . so which one do you like best?

Lovely as a Tree- Stamp a Stack

This is the second card we made in September's Stamp a Stack.  I have seen many similar cards in many galleries and on blogs.  So while this isn't a direct CASE it might still be considered a CASE.

• Card base is Always Artichoke with a layer of Cherry Cobbler and a front of Whisper White.
• Using an oval mask I stamped the line of trees from "Lovely as a Tree" with Stazon, then I lightly sponged Marina Mist inside of the oval. I sprayed Shimmer paint spray made from Frost White on the inside of the oval.
• After removing the mask I stamped the pine from the same set in Always Artichoke and Chocolate Chip Over lapping the oval.
• With a two way glue pen I added Dazzling Diamond to the bare trees within the oval.
• I stamped Merry Christmas  from "Four the Holidays" in Cherry Cobbler.

Reflections

The Peace on Earth card is the card we ended up making in our club this month, it was the card I reference in a post earlier this month. The second one is a card I made a couple of months ago we I was trying to come up with cards for my Punch Pals class, I didn't do this card as part of the class. The darker area under the snowman and penguin is iridescent ice.

Four the Holidays

In real life this card is so beautiful! I sprayed the Whisper White, Basic Gray, Real Red and Basic Black with a mixture of Shimmer Paint and Rubbing Alcohol I embossed the Seasons greetings in Silver and Punched a ornament out of the gray, black and red, I then ran them through the Big Shot in the Petals-a-Plenty folder. The ornaments are raised.

Bearing gifts

This card uses the Tag stamp Bearing Gifts, leaving off the train and the To and From. In real life the Happy Holiday (For the Holidays set)shows up. The image was colored with Watercolor wonder Crayons and an Aqua Painter. The top half of the card is randomly stamped with the images included in the Delightful Decorations stamp set.
