Mojo Monday 395

I've never tried the Mojo Monday challenge, I've used past sketches when I've felt I was in a rut, but today is the first time I've done their challenge. The challenge is Tall & Skinny, a size I rarely do. Here is my entry.

Butterfly Basics

My card today works for two challenges. The layout is from http://atlanticheartschallenge.blogspot.ca/
House of Cards challenge is add a butterfly or use color inspiration. I went with add a butterfly.

Prom Corsage

My son and his girl friend want to do Prom as inexpensive as they could and concentrate on having fun.His dates dress was turquoise and black so thus is what we made together for her'

Paper rose is Tempting Turquoise brushed with Crystal Effects. The rose is made with the Owl Builder and a Scallop Circle punch.

Yes that is paint on my hand, We are almost done with the laundry remodel, I'll post photos soon.

Misc: Owl Builder & Scallop Punch & Crystal Effects, Blush remnants and Rubbing alcohol 

I placed all the bits and pieces from several blush containers in an empty embellishment, crushed it and added alcohol to make a paste. Let it dry and it is ready to use. For the lid I made a flower and brushed crystal effects on the petals to make it hold up when handled.

Celebrate Today

This past week was Spring Break in our area and I didn't make it into my stamping room all week!  I spent the week working on my laundry room remake. So far one wall is down 6 electrical lines rerouted or added, plumbing for sink added and drywall up.  I also prepared for the freezer 66 pounds of asparagus. So this morning I made a card!
