Cuddles & Kisses- It's a boy~

I have seen so many cards on blogs that use the Owl Builder Punch for baby cards, I decided to join in.

  • The card base is Pool Party Core'dination CS that I ran through the Big Shot in the Cloudy Day Embossing Folder, then sanding the clouds.
  • I used the Adorning Accents Edgelit to the Gumball Green CS to make the grass area.
  • The coveralls are the vest from the Owl Builder punch, the DSP is Sycamore Street. Mini Brads are the snaps/
  • The line is Calypso Coral Bakers Twine.
  • On a scrap of Whisper White CS the phrase from Cuddles and Kisses was stamped with Tangerine Tango and punched with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch. From a scrap of Pacific Point I punched a 1 3/8" Circle and a Ticket, I layered the circle onto the ticket and added the phrase on top and added it to the front of the card.
I think it makes a fun baby boy card. So thanks to all of you who have shared their Owl baby cards.

Magic Snowflake Technique

So this (Magic Snowflake) is this months technique for club over the next few days I will show you the cards I decided not to do for club and then I will post the card we made.

So this is my first idea

  • The card base is Whisper White with a front of Rose Red layered with Cherry Cobbler.
  • On Glossy CS I stamped the phrase from Wacky Wishes(Hostess Set) and did the Magic Snowflake Technique using Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo and Rose Red.
  • I made a Cherry Cobbler band across the front with a Adorning Accent folder layered on Whisper White that was cut with the Adorning Accents Edgelit,
  • On Whisper White I stamped the heart from Heats a Flutter in Rose Red and Cherry Cobbler and added them to the card.
So this was card number 1.

Every Egg

Here is the last Easter card I made.
I had strips of Watercolor  paper left over from cutting paper for a class. . .here is what I ended up doing with them.

  • The card base is Whisper White( I know rare for me to use white with Watercolor paper but the DSP I was using had a white background) I cut the bottom off the front of the card with the Adorning Accents Edgelits die, then embossed it top and bottom with the Adorning Accents Textured Impressions Embossing Folders,
  • On the bottom of the inside of the card I added a strip of DSP from the Summer Smooches promotion. The design reminds me of eggs.
  • On a strip of Watercolor paper I ran the Every Egg wheel in Stazon across the strip. I colored the images with Watercolor Wonder Crayons and an Aqua Painter.
  • I layered the image onto a piece of Island Indigo and then onto two pieces of Daffodil Delight that had been punched with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch.
I think this is my favorite of the Easter cards I made this year. Do you have a favorite?

Well it is snowing here and no longer looks and feels like spring. I need to go out on knock snow off the branches of the trees that are in bloom. Have a wonderful day!
