Wacky Watercooler Christmas in July Blog Hop

July 2015 Blog Hop photo July 2015 Banner.jpg
Our Blog Hop runs in a circular fashion.  No matter where you begin, you'll wind up back in the exact same place again if you keep going to the "next" blog.  It works the same way whether you do the usual forward through the blog posts or if you work your way through in reverse order

If you arrived at my blog from Bev's blog, Welcome! I am sure you came away with plenty of ideas.

For this hop we were challenged to do 3 things, a Christmas card, a catalog CASE, and a card using one of the new punches. I made all three of the cards Christmas.

First up catalog CASE on page 8 is the card I CASEd.
For my CASE I turned the sketch upside down, I stamped it in Vesrsamark and embossed it with embossing powder using White Christmas stamp set.
Next a card using a new punch, well so far I have only bought two of them so I used the Banner Triple Punch. I used the new Every Blessing stamp set, stamped the image with Versamark and embossed with black embossing powder and the sentiment with gold embossing powder. I sponged the back ground.

For my last card I used White Christmas but the sentiment from Petite Pairs. I stamped on Watercolor Paper with Stazon and lightly watercolored it. I used lots of Dazzling Diamonds on the branches and snow banks.

Next up on our hop is my granddaughters blog, Jaylin is turning 11 on Saturday. Jaylin was invited to join our hop as a budding young stamper her blog is Crafting with Colors

Hello

Sometimes the ideas I see in my head do not work when I try to create them.  I really wanted to do a jelly fish card using from Land to Sea. I heat embossed that jellyfish on watercolor paper in white and in Pink Pirouette, I watercolored the sea around them...and hated how it turned out!  So those jellyfish became butterflies and this is the card I made with them
Stamps: From Land to Sea
Paper: Watercolor Paper, Whisper White, Blushing Bride & Pool Party CS
Ink: Versa Mark, Pool Party, Pink Pirouette, Lost Lagoon
Misc: Bold Butterfly Framelits, Butterflies Thinlits, Hello You Thinlits & Square Collections Framelits

So the you have it mistakes happen.
