Wacky Watercooler Blog Hop

August 2015 Blog Hop photo August 2015 Banner.jpg
Thanks for joining us on this month's hop!
Our Blog Hop runs in a circular fashion.  No matter where you begin, you'll wind up back in the exact same place again if you keep going to the "next" blog.  It works the same way whether you do the usual forward through the blog posts or if you work your way through in reverse order
You may have hopped her from my granddaughter Jaylin's blog, she enjoys stamping and see things in a way different from my own, she keeps me on my toes.

This month we are highlighting the stamp set that is this years Ronald McDonald House set "Sprinkles of Life". The stamp set can be found on page 189 of the annual catalog. $3 of every set sold is donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities. There is a punch "Tree Builder" that can be bought to go with this stamp set.

This is the  first card I made with this set.

Our bonus project is a catalog CASE

  2. I enjoyed all three of your cards Kath. Nicely done. I really thought the Tree in your first card was awesome the way you expanded the greenery. That was also a good match-up of stamp sets and DSP. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Great cards, Kath - and your granddaughter is following right in your footsteps. She's amazing (but you know that).
These are all three gorgeous -love the English Garden dsp with the Sprinkles of Life. I never would have thought of that. And, shhhhh - don't tell SU, but I like your CASE much better than the original.

  4. Beautiful work. The extea foliage for the trees and the sentiment sideways really define that card.

  6. Hi Kath, thanks for continuing to be part of our awesome blog hop group. I love your cards. The first one marries up that English Garden DSP beautifully with the Sprinkles of Life images. Your little spots of Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry add a lovely "pop" of colour. I love that you kept your second card almost completely neutral and then added the bright red cherry on top. Beautifully done! The texture added by the embossing folder is a perfect finishing touch. I love the changes you've made to the card you've CASEd from the catalogue. You've made it much more versatile and kept the elegance.

  9. Kath, your CASE card is beautiful--I like it as much as the original. But the large polka dots with the ice cream cone has my heart--whimsical, fun and so summery!
