Card in a Box

For club we made birthday cards in a box. On of my fellow blog hoppers shared the instruction on her blog.

We followed her instructions for the shorter box/card.

• The box is Island Indigo CS with Daffodil Delight and Raspberry Ripple CS for the panels
• The banner is Gingham Garden Washi Tape
• The phrase on the front flap is from Label Love and colored with markers before stamping with Island Indigo, Raspberry Ripple and Crushed Curry, it was popped up with Dimensionals
• All the sayings and the cupcakes are attached to Window Sheets. the sayings came from the following sets: Bring On the Cake, Remembering Your Birthday, Just Saying and Tag It they were cut out with the Word Bubble Framelits

My son saw it and asked if he could have it to give to his girlfriend on her birthday.

My daughter came from California to help out for a couple of weeks while her dad, my husband, had both of his knees replaced. she made this for her friend back in California.

We had fun making them.  I made the first box in more manly colors for my boss for his birthday, he loved it!

Tag It

It has been a busy couple of weeks(see end of post for another baby picture)

• The card base is Whisper White, Layered wirh Island Indigo CS.
• I ran the Melon Mambo CS through the Big Shot in the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder, adding it to the card base.
• I stamped the image from Tag It colorong the stamp with the following markers: Gumball Green, Pumpkin Pie, Pacific Point, Real Red, Midnight Muse, Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo, Basic Gray.  Huffed on stamp then stamp onto Whisper White CS.
• I ran the stamped image through the Big Shot cutting with Chalk Talk Framelit. I added Dimensionals to the back of the image and add to the card base.

Something about that little lizard makes me smile every time I make a card with it.

Tag It

I am running low on birthday card and I loved the lizard ion this stamp.

• The card base is Whisper White CS layered with Pistachio Pudding CS then Melon Mambo that I ran through the Big Shot with the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder.
• I used markers to color the stamp and then stamped it onto Whisper White CS I used Chalk Talk Framelits to cut the image out, I also cut a piece of Midnight Muse CS out with the same framelit.
• I cut the Midnight Muse piece in half then added it to the Whisper White image with Dimensionals. I then added the piece to the card.

Now I just need to get making some more.
