Valentines and Love

Today I thought I would do a tribute to cards I have made about Love and Valentines over the last few years, here are cards I have made and posted in the past, my style has changed and hopefully improved over the last couple of years.

All but one of these cards was posted somewhere on this blog in the last 3 years. Do you remember them?

Loads of Love & Fun

I made this card just for fun, then sold it to my neighbor who is a big snowmobiler(she bought all the cards that I made with the snowmobile on) after I sold it I had to borrow it back because I had forgotten to take a picture of it.
The card base is Bordering Blue, I had a strip of Basic Black left over from another project and used it for the road, I tore four pieces of Whisper White for my snowdrifts and sponged them with Bordering Blue ink. Placed two drifts down, added my road, then added two more drifts on top of the road.
I stamped the truck, trailer and snowmobile on watercolor paper with Stazon and colored them with Watercolor Wonder Crayons (can't live without them) and an aqua painter. I cut the images out and used Dimensionals to pop them up.
The phrases are from On Your Birthday, the first is stamped with White Stazon and the second with Bordering Blue.

Loads of Love and Party Hearty

I'm having a birthday card class in March making Adult-male & female, Teenage-male & female ans Child-male and female. Yesterday's butterfly card is one of the teenage female cards and toady's card is one of the teenage male cards.

I stamped the truck on Whisper White textured card stock with Stazon and colored it with Watercolor Wonder Crayons. Using post it notes to mask the candles I used markers to color the stamp then stamped them in the back of the truck.

The card base is Dusty Durango that I cut 1/2" off the card front and then add 1" of designer paper to the inside. The paper is from the Occasions Mini Sweet Pea collection

Loads of Love

I thought this would be a nice easy card for my Open Studio I stamped the truck on watercolor paper and colored it with Watercolor Wonder Crayons I mounted it on Real Red CS. The card is Very Vanilla, On the inside from top to bottom I stamped Loads of love in Real Red. Near the bottom I punched the Slit punch and inside the slit area I punch a hole and tied a ribbon through it. I tore the edge off the front to reveal the words and to close in the slit.

The designer paper comes from the Simply Scrappin' kit "Best Ever" the stamp set is "Loads of Love". Card base is Close to Cocoa, matting is Real Red, image is stamped with stazon on watercolor paper
