Dasher- my last Christmas card of the year to blog!

This was a Dasher card for the Dasher card class held last month. The first card is what I originally came up with but during class changed it to red Rhinestone Jewels, giving them a choice of how to do them.

• The card is Whisper White with front side sprayed with Frost Shimmer Paint spray. I used the Flowers a Plenty folder to emboss the front of the card, layering a mat in the Big Shot to give me the flat area for stamping.
• Dasher was stamped in the oval with Stazon ink, I add the Rhinestone Jewels to the antler area, for the second card I colored the jewels with a red sharpie maker(I love hoe they still sparkle even after being colored on).
• I dyed my ribbon with Cherry Cobbler re inker. the ribbon was Whisper White Organza Ribbon.

A simple and fast card that is easy to reproduce.

Dasher- Candle

I like how the deer was reversed in her card, I tried to get the deers reversed for a card but could not get it to come out clear.  So I did it as a candle for my Dasher class last month.  The deer are Chocolate Chip and Soft Suede with Rhinestone Jewels in the antlers.

In November I'm doing a card class designed around the Dasher stamp set, this may be one of the cards we do, haven't decided yet.

• Card base is Crumb Cake.
• The Cherry Cobbler panel is 2 3/4" x 5 1/4" with a strip of Deck the Halls DSP on each side to make it a 4"x5 1/4" The Cherry Cobbler piece is raised up on Dimensionals.
• On the Cherry Cobbler panel I stamped both Dasher and the words from All Holidays using VersaMark and White Embossing powder. I wrap a piece of Organza Ribbon around the CS between the image and the words, then I added all the pieces to the Card base.

I scored the Very Vanilla CS in a diamond pattern before stamping Dasher in Chocolate chip. I'm thinking of doing a second one but adding shimmer paint on the antler area. I pulled the colors for the mat layers from the Designer Paper (Merry Moments). the sentiment is from All Holidays. A simple and fast card.
