Lots of Bots-- Sense of Time

Is anyone else missing the copper line that SU carried in the past?  My son asked why I haven't posted this card. There was a couple of reasons, one being it didn't photograph well.  Well he asked again so I decided to go ahead, maybe you all have good imaginations and can tell that this is really nice in real life. This is the card I made for my son on his 16th birthday.

• Card base is Soft Suede, stamped with Sense of Time in Versamark and embossed with retired copper embossing powder.
•  I embossed several layers of copper on a rectangle of CS, ran out of copper before it was thick enough so added some clear layers.  While the embossing powder was melted and warm I pressed the robot  from Lots of  Bots into it. The image was popped up with Dimensionals.

Sence of Time & Good-Things-to-Come

After making the card that I posted on June 24, I wondered what else cold be done with this stamp set, I realize this is very much the same, the first a masculine version and this a more feminine version.

• This card was stamped on Whisper White that was sprayed with Shimmer spray the was made with the Frost Shimmer Paint.
• The clocks are Crumb Cake.
• The gears with Soft Suede.
• The phrase is from a level 3 Hostess Set and I thought the words fit perfect with the images. The set is called Occasional Quotes, I stamped it on Whisper White with Soft Suede. I mounted it on Soft Suede also sprayed with Shimmer Spray.

I added Pearl Jewels to the center of the clock hands, these Pearls are wonderful they are found on page 188 of the catalog. the ribbon is threaded through a slit at the top of the card.

Sense of Time

Sometimes a photo just doesn't do a card justice! The card base is Kraft/Crumb Cake, matting, ink and cogs are Chocolate Chip. I random stamped the clock and gears on the card front, sponged the edges, then sprayed it with gold smooch spray, I punched my cogs and sprayed them as well (twice, I wanted more gold). After stamping the phrase I sprayed this as well then distressed the edges. The large cog in the upper corner is on dimensionals. On the inside I stamped the gears once, but did not add spray.

I finally bought this set and now I am stumped for ideas for cards. . . does that ever happen to you? I guess I'll need to google the set and see what others have done with this, if you have this set leave a comment and I'll check out what you have done with this set.

My son who made the Lots of Bots- Steampunk card on May 6ths, posts wants to remake the card using this set.
