My Crazy Life and Extreme Skateboard.

So my husband has been working from home for the last six years and with that comes the good and the bad. My house from the front looks nice and small a single level house. From the back yard it is three stories high. On the bottom floor was my very large craft room with a walk out to the back yard. On the middle floor my husband had his office it is fairly large but much smaller than my craft room.

Now for some of the bad in having a work at home husband, #1 my house isn't quiet, my husband can't concentrate when it is noisy, often I have a cranky husband. #2 my husbands office has no windows, after hours on deadlines, he feels like he is going a little crazy shut up in his office...

Saturday we decided to change rooms, my husband is moving into what was my craft room and I into what was his office. So my craft room is sitting in piles in the middle of our family room and we have moved most of my husbands office down stairs. Hopefully the change will help my husband be more productive. The windows and door to open will hopefully keep his mood elevated and being farther away from the noise of the kids will keep him concentrating better and longer.

So while I did make some wonderful cards on Friday that I am really happy with, I don't know where they are and haven't taken any pictures of them yet. This card is one that a made a week or so ago, but didn't post.
The card base is Dusty Durango CS layered with Kraft CS and I used Dusty Durrango and Chocolate Chip CS for to mat the Kraft CS that I stamped the image of the Skateboarder with Chocolate Chip ink.

Lovely as a Tree

I have several pieces of water color paper left over from other projects and being the tightwad that I am I can't throw them away. These strips fit into the larger tag punch and even though the image is bigger than the tag I think it works. I stamped a piece of Really Rust with the background Sanded with Really Rust ink I added two black brads and used dimensionals to pop up the tag. The phrase is from On Your Birthday and is embossed with black. Of coarse I colored the image with Watercolor Wonder Crayons.
Remember to check the pay it forward post. Have a great week end.

It works like this: the first three people to comment on this post and say they want to play along will get something handmade by me. I then have 365 days to make good. (I promise not to take that long.)
Anyone with a blog can join, it doesn't need to be something paper crafted, just something handmade for the next person. To receive something from me, you need to play along too. You will need to post about it with the logo just as I have as soon as you sign up!Please leave a comment if you would like to receive a little something from me! (Be sure to have an email address for me to contact you.)

Punch Pals #2

This is the second card we made in our first Christmas card class. The base is Real Red, I punched an opening in the card front with the Modern Label punch. Inside the card Merry Christmas from Teeny Tiny Wishes was stamped on Whisper White with Real Red punched out with the word Window punch. The penguin was stamped three time on Whisper White and mounted on a strip of Basic Black. The penguins were colored with Watercolor Wonder Crayons.

Punch Pals #1

It's been a busy week! Monday and Tuesday I spent time prepping new boxes for my Wednesday open stamping days, and then on Wednesday it turned cold and rained ( I still had a few who braved the weather and showed up to stamp), it rained so much that my stamping room flooded. So Wednesday night and yesterday I cleaned up and tried to dry out carpet. Yesterday was my Halloween treats class, we had fun, 8 Frankie and 8 Draculas were made, and 4 of the mummy and sweet centers were made. So that brings us to today...
This card was one of the cards we made at the first Christmas card class. The snowman is cut out and on dimentionals, the Merry Christmas is as well. The trees are stamped directly on the card base, they were done marker to stamp. The snow drifts and shading on the snowman were done with Bordering Blue watercolor crayons and then dazzling diamonds was added. Simple but really nice in real life.
