WWC180 - Marsha's "All About Holidays" Challenge

I used the bundle that will be a limited release to customers in August to make my holiday card. See tomorrow post for more information on this bundle.

This card photographs real wonky. When looking at it in real life the sentiment looks fairly straight but in the picture, it is downhill. I tried fixing the card by restamping and embossing the sentiment with retired real red glitter embossing powder and popping it up on Dimensionals, slightly straighter when photographed.

The DSP is one of the buy 3 get 1 free sale that goes for 6 more days! The paper is Under the Mistletoe. I layered it on retired red glimmer paper.

I stamped the image with Memento ink and colored it with Stampin' Blends.

Petal Promenade

The buy 3 get 1 free DSP sale that is going on this month has caused me to buy more DSP then I usually do! I bought 1 of each of the ones included in the sale! Much to my surprise, Petal Promenade is currently my most used in fact, I had to place a second order!

I paired the paper with Delicate Lace Edgelit Dies(one of the first things I ordered from the new catalog) and the Stitched Labels Framelit Dies. The Sentiment is from Beautiful Bouquet.

I used other sheets of the DSP as well as the other two edglits

Papaer Pumpkin- July

In yesterday's blog post I showed you how I Turned the 3" x 3" cards into full-size cards. That left me with the envelopes. Since they matched the cards I decided to cut them apart and use them too.

The second card I stamped crooked so it will be round filed. Here is what it looked like.

Paper Pumpkin July 2018

Since I don't use 3" x 3" cards I decided to save the baskets for next Easter and used the cards to make full-size cards.

This is the first one I made.

I used the tissue from the basket as DSP for the card. I wasn't sure I liked the Crumb Cake and Whisper White together so I tried again.

What do you think about these?

Beach Themed Sampler Measurements

I was asked for the measurements for the sampler I posted here.

The frame is from Ikea and cost around $15. The size is 20 1/2" x 20 1/2" The Opening is 11 3/4" x 11 3/4"

I glued two sheets of grid paper together and drew a 12" x 12" square. I knew I wanted to use High Tide, Magical Mermaid, Lilypad Lake & Sea of Texture so I laid the lighthouse, mermaid, octopus & crane out on the grid and drew in the boxes for each. I wanted the octopus in the center so I started the I gave it 4 1/4" square and worked out from there. Starting with the upper left scene as box #1 and the bottom right as box #9 the following sizes are what I drew on my grid paper.

#1- 4 1/4" x 2 1/2"

#2- 3 1/4" x 2 1/2"

#3- 3" x 5"

#4- 3 1/4" x 2 1/4"

#5- 4 1/4" x 4 1/4"

#6- 3" x 1 3/4"

#7- 3 1/4" x 5 1/4"

#8- 3 3/4" x 3 1/2"

#9- 3 3/4" c 3 1/2"

I light drew in pencil a line 1/2" in around my 12" x 12" Paper and started gluing my mats down. My scenes were stamped on cardstock that was 1/4" smaller then the mats.
