Watercooler Wednesday Challenge 110 - Heather's "Easter Bunny" Clean and Simple Challenge

Heather challenged us to a clean and simple easter bunny card.

I don't do many Easter cards so I only have a couple of Easter stamps and they are all sentiment.  I used a retired stamp for my card and turned the sentiment into a simple bunny.

Watercooler Wednesday Challenge 109 - Heidi's Color Challenge

Hiedi gave us a color challenge this week.

These colors had me stumped until I came across the stamp set "Cake Crazy".

Since there wasn't yellow in the challenge I left the candles off.  It's a wobbly looking cake but still cute.

Watercooler Wednesday Challenge 108 - Gail's Sketch Challenge

Confession time, Gail gave us this sketch to work with this week.
This is the card I made for last weeks masculine card before I realized how close it was to the sketch.
Here is the revised card to fit the sketch.

Whisper White, Dapper Denim and Basic Gray are the colors of cardstock I used.  I ran a piece of Silver Foil Sheet through the Big Shot in the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder for my Diagonal piece.  I used Silver Embossing Powder for my Sentiment covering the whole piece of cardstock in three layers of embossing powder. While the last layer of melted embossing powder was still warm I stamped the sentiment from "Suite Sentiments" into it. I used 4 screw head from the Urban Underground Embellishments

Watercooler Wednesday Challenge 107 - Penny's Masculine Challenge

It was Penny's turn to challenge us this week!
I love when we have a masculine challenge, it makes me stop and think a little more than my average cards does.  Birthdays and weddings are the easiest for me to make and they seem to be the ones I use and sell the most of, but every now and then the men in our lives need a card.
I used Very Vanilla and Pacific Point cardstock and colored the images from "Nailed It" with the new watercolor pencils. I ran a 1" strip of Silver Foil Sheet through the Big Shot in the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

Welcome! Our Blog Hop runs in a circular fashion.  No matter where you begin, you'll wind up back in the exact same place again if you keep going to the "next" blog.  It works the same way whether you do the usual forward through the blog posts or if you work your way through in reverse order. I used Soft Sky, Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Island Indigo, Basic Gray, Smoky Slate and Whisper White. I used the Lift Me Up bundle for this card.

So there are my thoughts of spring! Now it time to hope on to Marsha's blog and see her creations.

Watercooler Wednesday Challenge 105 - Marsha's Color Challenge

Marsha gave us this picture as our color challenge.

I ended up making my card twice, my computer showed the colors a little off so after Marsha told me the colors I redid the card.  So if you want to know the colors in Stampin' UP! colors left to right, I would suggest the colors of Very Vanilla, Blushing Bride, Peekaboo Peach, Rich Razzleberry, Emerald Envy (since we don't have a current dark green) and Mint Macaron.

I used a Sale a bration stamp set called "Avant Garden" as well as "Watercolor Wishes". I used Very Vanilla, Mint Macron and Blushing Bride card stock and Blushing Bride, Peekaboo Peach, Mint Macron and Emerald Envy ink.

WWC102 - Libby's Clean and Simple Challenge

Libby gave us a Clean and Simple Challenge with a red and white theme.
Confession! I often read the challenge and then forget all the details when I actually go to create. We changed our guidelines on  Clean and Simple and for the life of me I couldn't remember the changes. So my card follows the original truly CAS guidelines.

I used Sealed With Love and Bloomin' Love

Too Clean and Simple?  Step it up!

WWC101- Jean's Color Challenge

Jean gave us these colors to work with this week.
This is the card I made.
I used the Birthday Blast Bundle from the new Occasions Catalog and of course, the colors are from the challenge.  This card kind of put itself together, I was surprised how easy it came together.

WWC100 - Celebration theme (Anything Goes)

What better thing to celebrate then a birth of a new baby!
I used a stamp set from the new Occasions Catalog called Moon Baby. I pared it with the Lucky Stars Textured Embossing Folder and the colors So Saffron and Dapper Denim. I am excited to have watercoloring pencils in Stampin Up! colors! The pencils work well with the Blender Pens.
