Home to Roost

Home to Roost is a Sale a bration stamp set so it is free with a qualifying order. I paired it with the Buffalo Check stamp that carried over from the Holiday Catalog and is still available for purchase.

I stamped the Buffalo Check onto Whisper White using Real Red Ink. The Wood Textures DSP were scraps from the card I posted on the 16th.

The rooster is stamped with Stazon ink and colored with Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen. I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits to cut the image out and Dimensionals to pop it up on the card.

WWC202 - Dawn's Feminine "Anything Goes" Challenge

Dawn is the host of our first challenge of the new year!

The Occasion and Sale-a-bration catalogs start tomorrow! Free items with a qualified order! I used three of the free Sale a bration items and two Occasion items on my card.

First I used The new butterfly punch from the Butterfly Gala Bundle that matched the butterfly image from the Sale a bration DSP called Botanical Butterfly. The punched out butterfly was added to a Grapefruit Grove Oval that that was sponged with Grapefruit Grove ink matted with an oval of Whisper White cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

The ribbon that is wrapped around the Daffodil Delight cardstock is also from Sale a bration. It is from the Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack (delicate 1/4" organdy ribbon in Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Grapefruit Grove, Highland Heather, and Lemon Lime Twist. 5 spools: 5 yards each) a pretty great addition to my embellishment collection. The stamped sentiment is from the third Sale a bration item, a stamp set called Home to Roost. It was stamped with Memento Ink.

The front of the Balmy Blue cardstock base was run through the Big Shot in the new Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder from the Occasions Catalog.
