Magical Day Bundle-Knight

I ordered the Magical Day Bundle in December and finally used it! I think it makes a fun birthday card!
Supplies:
 Magical Day Bundle
Thick Whisper White, Whisper White, Basic Gray & Night of Navy Cardstock
Basic Gray & Night of Navy Ink
Layering Circle Framelits
Stitched Shapes Framelits
Brick Wall Textured Embossing Folder
Birthday Banners Stamp Set
Dimensionals
Wink of Stella
Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy, Ivory & Smokey Slate Stampin' Blends

I colored the Knight with Stampin' Blends and added Wink of Stella to the armor to give it some shimmer. I also used Dimensionals to pop it up on the circle. The sentiment is from Birthday Banners.

Watercooler Wednesday Challenge 140 - Libby's All About Birthdays Challenge

Libby is our host this week!
While cleaning up my craft room I found these unused card bases that Stampin Up retired. They fit the challenge theme so I figured I better use them up.
I used the stamp set Birthday Banners. I stamped the candle twice end to end so that I had a tall candle. I pulled my ink color from the colors on the base to stamp both candle and banner. The colors I used are Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, and Emerald Envy. I cut the banner out with the Bunch of Banners Framelits. I used Dimensionals to pop it up on the base. I used Wink of Stella on the flame. A fast and easy birthday card.

WWC81 - Gail's Color Challenge

Gail gave us a color challenge with some yummy colors!
Here is the card I made with these colors.

The first thing I did was a watercolor wash of Daffodil Delight and Peekaboo Peach, sadly it photographed looking like Very Vanilla.  I used the stamp sets Wild about Flowers and Birthday Banners.
The stems and flowers on the flowers in the back were stamped off once before stamping.  the flower in the foreground was stamped full strength.

Check out the cards made by the artists at Watercooler Wednesday Challenges, there are some wonderful ones! Create with these colors and link back to the challenge.

Wacky Watercooler Blog Hop 3rd Anniversary Celebration

It's been awhile since I last hopped with my friends but I didn't want to miss our anniversary! If this isn't your first stop then you probably came here from Kathe's blog, I'm sure you enjoyed your visit with her.

RULES FOR OUR HOP:   Project One:  Featuring an Anniversary Card.   Project Two:  Featuring a stamp set that has survived since being introduced in 2013 (Wetlands, Gorgeous Grunge, Flower Shop).  Project Three:  Featuring your version of a CASE from the original blog hop.

My first project:
I used three stamp sets for this card: Birthday Blooms, Birthday Banners & matching Framelit and the sentiment is from Number of Years. My colors are Watermelon Wonder, Flirty Flamingo, So Saffron, Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz, Card Stock is Shimmery White & Flirty Flamingo.

Next The stamp set I used from 2013 is Gorgeous Grunge I paired it with Timeless Textures.
The colors used are Basic Gray, Dapper Denim, Island Indigo, Pool Party, Cherry Cobbler and Daffodil Delight. I used the Butterfly Framelits and colored Rhinestones

For my last project I CASEd Kathe's last card from our first hop.
All the framelits she used are retired so I combined Framelits from several sets as well as used the Seaside Textured Embossing Folder.
Stamp Sets are Seaside Shore and Guy Greetings. Colors are Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight and Dapper Denim.

So there you have it, I'd love to hear what you think of my projects but now it's time to hop on to Bev's Blog.  Thanks for stopping by.

WWC73 - Gail's Clean & Simple Summer theme Challenge

Gail challenged us to make a clean and simple card with the theme of Summer!

I decided that the Wetlands stamp set was the way to go!
I washed Crumb Cake, Marina Mist, So Saffron & Pool Party Inks across the front top portion on my card, stamped the birds with Soft Suede.  The Happy Birthday is from Birthday Banners stamped with Soft Suede.

Check out what the artists at Watercooler Wednesday have done with this challenge, then join the challenge and don't forget to link up!

Wacky Watercooler June Blog Hop!

I'm hopping with my friends again! It has been too long!

Our blog hop works in a circular pattern, so you may have started here on my blog or have hopped here from Deb's blog. Either way Welcome!

We are sharing our favorites fro the new catalog. It's hard to pick favorites when there is so much I am liking about this catalog.

First up, favorite new In Color: Dapper Denim is my favorite at the moment ;).
I faux watercolored with the stamp set Touches of Texture using Dapper Denim, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight. I also used a greeting from Birthday Banners.

Second was our favorite Stamp Set/Bundle, that was a tough one so I went with two of them.

I used the Foxy Friends and Always an Adventure Bundles. I also used Teeny Tiny Wishes and the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.

Last, Favorite DSP, well I didn't buy any (you'd think with a $500 order that wouldn't have happened). But I have the Neutrals Stack.

I used One Wild Ride, another favorite stamp set.

So now it's time to hop over to Marie's blog.
