Every 5th Wednesday is "Anything Goes!"
This week I am using items from the Occasions & Sale a Bration catalogs!
This is my first play with a new to me Brusho Crystal Color.
The cardstock I used is Thick Whisper White, Night of Navy and Watercolor Paper. On a scrap of watercolor paper, I stamped and embossed the flower from Beautiful Day. After adding water to the flower I sprinkled the Yellow and Brilliant Red Brusho on the flower, let it dry and cut it out. The background was done with the Prussian Blue Brusho sprinkled on dry paper and then lightly spritzed.
The Amazing is cut with the Celebrate You Thinlit dies and YOU is stamped in Night of Navy ink using Amazing You, both are Sale a bration items.
The flower is popped up with Dimensionals.
Check out the projects that the artists at Watercooler Wednesday Challenges have created then take the challenge and link your creation to the challenge post.
Hi Kath, beautiful use of those Brusho crystals. I love the way the yellow and red mixed in the flower. Beautiful effect. The background "shake and spritz" technique really sets your flower off beautifully.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is just stunning!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. And fantastic work with Brushos. I struggle with powder inks.
