Wacky Watercooler Mini Blog Hop

Welcome to the second blog hop celebrating the Occasions and Sale a brations catalogs! I missed out on the first catalog hop, so I am happy I made it into this one! Our hop runs in a circular  pattern so you may have landed on my page from Jackie's blog, I'm sure if that is where you came here from that you were inspired with her ideas, if you started here make sure you keep hoping until you make it to her blog.

My first card is one I shared last night and this morning with my clubs and if you haven't bought the Botanical Blooms bundle you are going to want it!

Here is the sample I made for club and below are the two I made during clubs.

I'll stamp the greetings for the last two card when I know what I need the for ;).
The greeting for the first card come from another set from the Occasions catalog called Rose Wonder.

The next card uses World Traveler Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and the stamp set Going Global.
Instead of DSP I cut up one of my husbands flight charts( yes originally I had planned on using the  Sale a bration set Sky is the Limit)

So there you have it, the ideas I came up with to share, now it is time to hop on over to Marie's blog to see what she has to share.

If you have wondered what has kept me from blogging for the last several weeks, I've been going crazy :), mid way through December My daughter, her husband and 2 year old daughter needed to move and were unable to find housing, they have ended up moving in with us. My four bedroom house now has 7 adults and 2 children living here with a baby due to arrive in April. My craftroom is being shared with one of my sons and I have been trying to work out where my supplies are and between that and taking care of a two year old I haven't had the time to blog. Hopefully I will be able to sneak down during naptime and get a little stamping done.

  1. Kath, I really like both cards very much. The wedding card is beautiful, and the World Traveler card is so well proportioned with a really nice layout.

  3. Kathe, for being so busy, these cards are absolutely beautiful. They are on my case list. Isn't it nice that as parents/grandparents we can still help them as adults. Family is so important, especially in present times.

  7. Going Global is one of my favorites, and you made such a great card! Love the flight chart idea, Kath--just a perfect "accessory" to that set. Your Botanicals cards are lovely too--your color combination and detailed flowers really pop against the white space! Beautiful!

  8. Hi Kath, thanks for being part of our wonderful blog hop. As always, your cards are inspirational. I love the way you incorporated a real flight chart into your second card. It works so well with the World Traveler ef and the Going Global set. Even the colours compliment each other---probably the reason you chose that flight chart to begin with. Your three cards using the Botanical Blooms bundle are stunning! I love the slight colour variations and the subtle differences in the placement of flowers. Each is a beautiful example of what can be done with that bundle. I'm so glad you managed to create some projects for this mini hop. You have been missed. *hugs*
