Heidi is hosting this weeks challenge, I love when we have a masculine, they are a little harder to do and we always seem to need cards for many different occasions. I left the sentiment off the front and then I will be able to add one to the inside when I have occasion to need a masculine card.
This is a fast and simple card and will be available in this week stamp classes.
The base is Thick Very Vanilla Cardstock and the ovals are Early Espresso and Very Vanilla. I love the DSP it is one from Wood Textures DSP Stack, I love this stack of paper the colors in the woods are so rich!
The image is from Heartland Stamp Set stamped in Early Espresso Ink.
Check out the projects that the artists at Watercooler Wednesday Challenges have created then take the challenge and link your creation to the challenge post.
Hi Kath, that dark wood textures Designer Paper creates the perfect background for that wonderful vintage image. Stamping it in Early Espresso on Very Vanilla really adds to the mood.
ReplyDeleteGreat masculine card Kath. It's so awesome when you come up with a pattern or design that is easy and quick to assemble. This design and image would be great for many masculine occasions. Leaving off the sentiment makes so much sense. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the new Wood Textures DSP - I think they work so well for masculine cards. x
