Best Year with Hand-Penned DSP Scraps

This week I thought that I would share cards that use up scraps of Designer Series Paper. When I get any new Designer Series Paper I cut one sheet of each design to 10"x11.25" and then I cut that to 5"x3.75" pieces that leaves me with two scraps one a 2"x12" the other 3/4"x10". I keep one sheet until I need to use it either for classes or if I need different sizes than the standard size I use.

For today's card, I used scraps of Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper. I embossed a 3.5"x4.75 piece of Basic White then glues various widths strips diagonally.

Pansy Patch

 I have a repeat of my Pansy Patch Fancy Fold Class coming up on July 14th a class at 10 am and again at 6:30pm. The class is $28. Written instructions are included with the class. Let me know if you are interested.

Best Year

I saw a card using this fold on Facebook and thought it was perfect to show the Expressions In Ink Designer Series Paper. When I went back and tried to find the card I couldn't find it so I don't know who shared it first.

The card base is 11" x 5.5" scored at 1.75", 5.5", 9.75" along the 11" side. Cardstock mats are 3.5"x 5.25", 1.75"x5.25", 1"x5.25" DSP is 3.25"x5", 1.5"x5", .75"x5" The Belly Band is 1 3/8"x11" layered with 1 1/8"x11".

More June 2021 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives

 Here are two more alternatives for the June Paper Pumpkin.

For the first card, I used a Bumblebee Base and cut the vellum piece from the kit with a Stitched Rectangle Dies. For the second card, I used the vellum piece that was left from the first card. The base was Thick Basic White and a die-cut from Artistic Dies.

June 2021 Paper Pumpkin & Alternatives

 Junes kit coordinates with the Expressions In Ink Suite from the Annual Catalog.

This Bumblebee-colored card and the card below are as the kit instructions instruct.

I cut apart some of the florals from the kit and added some Gold Foil to the card.

For the following two cards I used the note size card with the base from the Bumblebee card.

I cut the notecard in half and used half to mat the thanks.
