This card was so easy everything just fell into place.
Sadly the flower punches used are retired but any small flower punch you own would work. For these flowers, I use the small left over strips of Watercolor Paper that I have after cutting Watercolor Paper for other projects. I can't stand to waste such expensive paper. After wetting the strips of Watercolor Paper I drop ink onto them with an Aqua Painter. After the strips dry I punch as many flowers as I can, each with slightly different colors. I store them in containers to use whenever the mood strikes!
The Cardstock used for this card is Thick Whisper White & Peekaboo Peach. The ink is Berry Burst. I used Garden Trellis Textured Embossing Folder and the Stamp is Happy Birthday Gorgeous.
I made a second one trading the peach for Sweet Sugarplum.

Wow Kath this is a great birthday card. I loved the first one but loved the second one even more with its rich vibrant colours. Those flowers almost remind me of pansy's with their multiple hue. I also really like the embossed background design. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous birthday card, Kath. Both colours are beautiful but the Sweet Sugarplum is my favourite. The label shape just pops against the embossed cardstock. Love the way you've coloured those flowers, too.
