Watercooler Wednesday Challenge 150 - Heidi's Masculine "Anything Goes" Challenge

Heidi is the host this two week challenge!
With Christmas nearly upon us, we are making this challenge a two-week challenge. Plenty of time to upload a project!

My card uses a retired image. This stamp is a keeper, I'm sorry that it had such a short window to buy it. My husband used to be a competitive sailor so this card works for him.
I stamped my image with Stazon and watercolored with Soft Sky, Bermuda Bay and Basic Black Ink and an Aqua Painter. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Remarkable You III

This time I used the calla lilies! I stamped them once on the top layer and again on a scrap of Whisper White using Memento Ink. I roughly colored the two on the card layer but spent more time on the 2 on the scrap. I then cut the 2 on the scrap out and used Dimensionals to pop them up on the card. I used Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Stampin' Blends to color the flowers. The sentiment is from  Daisy Delight and is stamped in Old Olive Ink. The cardstock I used is Whisper White and Basic Black.

Birthday Blooms

The cardstock is Crushed Curry, Old Olive, and Whisper White. I stamped the image with Memento ink and colored it with the new Stampin' Bends. The colors are Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, and Old Olive. The Sentiment was stamped in Old Olive and is from Daisy Delight.

I restamped and colored another.

The cardstock on this one is Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz, and Whisper White. This time I didn't use Calypso Coral and didn't take the color to the edge of the petals, I used the Color Lifter to blend the color to the tips. The sentiment is from Thoughts and Prayers.

Watercooler Wednesday Challenge 143 - Gail's Feminine "Anything Goes" Challenge

Gail is the host for this weeks challenge!
I made a simple card with the Graceful Garden stamp set.
Today Stampin' Up! released Stampin' Blends new alcohol markers! I used them to color the rose from Graceful Garden
The pink marker is labeled Pink Pirouette but is much closer to Blushing Bride in my opinion. I used the regular markers to ink up the stamp with Blushing Bride on the petals and Old Olive on the stem and leaves then stamped onto Whisper White Cardstock. I colored first with the light marker the dark for the shadows and again with the light to blend.
I stamped the sentiment from Special Celebrations with Old Olive ink and cut it out with Bunch of Banners Framelits. I sponged the edges with Blushing Bride ink and popped it up with Dimensionals. The card base is Thick Whisper White with layers of Blushing Bride and Old Olive.

I used the Lucky Stars embossing folder on the So Saffron cardstock. I felt it needed something so I added a sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Watercooler Wednesday Challenge 141 - Heidi's Masculine "Anything Goes" Challenge

Heidi is this weeks challenge host!
Cherry Cobbler and Dapper Denim are great colors for a guy card.
I used the stamp set One Wild Ride stamping it in Momento Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock. I sponged the edges with Crumb Cake Ink. I matted it with Dapper Denim and added it to a Cherry Cobbler base.  I stamped the sentiment onto a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock twice first with Dapper Denim and again in Cherry Cobbler. I punched the first one out with the Best Badge Punch. The second one I cut out just the banner and added it to the first one. Popped it up with Dimansioals.

Watercooler Wednesday Challenge 140 - Libby's All About Birthdays Challenge

Libby is our host this week!
While cleaning up my craft room I found these unused card bases that Stampin Up retired. They fit the challenge theme so I figured I better use them up.
I used the stamp set Birthday Banners. I stamped the candle twice end to end so that I had a tall candle. I pulled my ink color from the colors on the base to stamp both candle and banner. The colors I used are Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, and Emerald Envy. I cut the banner out with the Bunch of Banners Framelits. I used Dimensionals to pop it up on the base. I used Wink of Stella on the flame. A fast and easy birthday card.

Watercooler Wednesday Challenge 139 - Kath's Feminine "Anything Goes" Challenge

It's my turn to host this weeks challenge!
My card might not be the typical feminine card, but I so loved the delicate lacey leaves as well as the greeting and I felt it works for this challenge.
Photographing the foil papers is hard to do!
The card base is Thick Whisper White layered with Year of Cheer Specialty DSP. I used the Envelope Punch Board to round the corners. Using the Seasonal Layers Thinlits I cut leaves from Silver and Copper Foil Paper. I stamped the sentiment from Thoughts & Prayers with Versamark on Whisper White Cardstock and heat embossed with the Copper Embossing Powder. I cut the sentiment out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and popped it up with Dimensionals.

Painted Harvest

The stamp set Painted Harvest is a popular set from the Holiday catalog. For the background, I stamped the acorn and the fern using Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake and Soft Suede inks. I used Year of Cheer Specialty Washi Tape at the bottom of the card. I used Copper Foil Paper to mat the sunflower but first I used the Leaf Punch  (bundled with the Painted Harvest stamp set for a 10% saving) to punch the leaf out of the center of my square. The sunflower is stamped with Daffodil Delight, Cajon Craze and Soft Suede ink. I added the copper leaf as well as two more punched from Vellum cardstock behind the image of the sunflower

The morning of my husbands birthday as I headed down to my craft room my husband asked what I was planning to do. I told him I was going to make him a birthday card. He said, "Make it an awesome one". So I did!
I used two stamp sets for this card Marquee Messages and Guy Greetings. Cardstock is Thick Whisper White, Whisper White, Real Red and Dapper Denim. The ink is Memento Jet Black, Real Red, Dapper Denim and Crushed Curry.

I colored Rhinestone Gems with a sharpie before adding them as lights on the sign.
