WWC96-Gail's Special Fold Challenge

Gail challenged us to use a special fold for this weeks challenge.
I went with the "Easy Four Fold Card"

I used two stamp sets that are available this year and two retired sets. For the front panel I used Star of Light from the Holiday Catalog.  First and last panel uses Joyful Nativity found in the annual catalog. Second Panel is a retired stamp called Every Blessing. The third panel is a retired set called Come to Bethlehem. I used the emboss resist techneique.

WWC95 - Libby's Masculine Challenge

Libby challenged us to make a masculine card. I have a confession. Last week I didn't read the challenge just glanced at the picture and saw it only as a coffee/tea challenge. Oops! I was happy when I realized the card I made would work for this challenge!
I used the stamps Timeless Textures and Endless Birthday Wishes
I used Tip Top Taupe, Early Espresso and Dapper Denim. I used the Layering Oval Framelits.

WWC94 - Heidi's Simply Stamping Challenge

"Simply Stamping" is a return to basics.  We expect either one single stamped layer or a base with one single layer on that.  We expect simple stamping.  You can use masking, heat embossing, stencilling, sponging.  You cannot use an embossing folder or embellishments or additional layers (not even a tag).

I failed to read our own guideline when I first made a card for this challenge and had to go back to the drawing board. This time I made a very simple CAS card.
I don't drink coffee or tea so I haven't collected any of those type stamps so this was hard because of lack of stamps, however Touches of Texture does have coffee rings and I did use Early Espresso CS and ink. I also used Sheltering Tree and Dapper Denim

In all honesty the train needed at least one more color but if I had added one it wouldn't fit the challenge ;).

Merriest Wishes

This is one of the cards from my card class.
I used the Delicate Ornament, Layering Circles and Pretty Pines Thinlits and Merriest Wishes Stamp Set.

I am holding weekly classes with half the cards Christmas and the rest Occasions. I send out 75 to 100 cards at Christmas so I make many different ones so I don't get bored, I'll be sharing them over the next few weeks so check back.

WWC92 - Jean's Sketch Challenge

Jean gave us an interesting sketch for this week, I had to think about it for a bit.
My son got married a few weeks ago and I was making thank you cards for them and Night of Navy was one of their colors so I went with that.
