Dreams du Jour

I have a confession, I have a hard time getting the corner and edge punches to line up. My solution. . . I don't use them together.
  • I started this card with a piece of Very Vanilla CS cut 4 1/4" x 11" with the ends folded to the middle. On the two front sides I layered a piece of Early Espresso on each side.  On top of the Early Espresso pieces I added a piece of DSP in Pear Pizzazz.
  • On a square of Very Vanilla I stamped the Dream image from "Dreams du Jour" using Early Espresso.  Using a Blender Pen I colored the leaves and flowers using Pear Pizzazz and Regal Rose.
  • The image was layered 4 times. 1st- Regal Rose, 2nd- Early Espresso, 3rd- Pear Pizzazz, 4th- Early Espresso.
  • I cut the last Early Espresso square at 4" punching the corners with the Scallop Edge Corner punch.  To the straight sides I added a strip of the Pearl Jewels.
  • The image was attached to only the left side of the card so that it could still open.
I was surprised when my husband came into my stamp room and saw this card he actually said he liked it.
