Teddy & Train

I love this stamp set! I finally bought it after wanting it since July. The card base is Brocade Blue with a Whisper White front ran through the big shot with the Perfect Polka Dots folder. I cut the water color paper with the big shot then sponged the edges with Brocade Blue. I stamped the bear with stazon the colored it with Watercolor Wonder Crayons. The ribbon is 5/8" Brocade Blue that I ran from the top 3/4 the way down. I stamped the rattle in Brocade Blue then stamped off once on scrap paper then on Whisper White. I stamped the Bundle of Joy full strength, I punched with the Large Oval punch then sponged the edges. Both the bear and the phrase are on Dimensionals.

Vintage Vogue- mother's day

This card is inspired by a card made by another stampin' up demonstrator, her name is Jen Sannes. Stampin' Up started a demonstrator only site so that demonstrators could share ideas with each other. It was her card that made me decide not to use my Vintage Vogue set in Vintage colors and to distress everything.

So my card uses colors from the Bold Bright collection, a collection of colors that rarely use. The colors are Lovely Lilac, Tempting Turquoise and Green Galore. The card base is Lovely Lilac with a front of Whisper White. I stamped the large flower, 2 small flowers, and the vines on the front, on a scrap I stamp 1 large and 4 small flowers and cut them out. With dimensionals I popped three of the flowers up and left 2 small flowers flat but hanging slightly off the edge. The phrase is from All Holidays I used markers to color the stamp before stamping.

For the center of the large flower I used a ribbon slide with a half pearl.

Creating

So the second photo is my oldest son Ryan's creative outlet. I make cards and scrapbook, he creates with Lego. I think it is cute.
The card is my attempt to use the Fresh cuts stamp as a background stamp. I started with a base of Whisper White and added a top(4" x 5 1/4") of Basic Black. I stamped the Fresh Cuts image on Whisper White with Stazon and then cut it to the size of the image. I used Fine Flourish and the ivy from Vintage Vogue to finish the card front. cutting both to fit the remaining area. The phrase is from Teeny Tiny Wishes

Loads of Love & Fun

I made this card just for fun, then sold it to my neighbor who is a big snowmobiler(she bought all the cards that I made with the snowmobile on) after I sold it I had to borrow it back because I had forgotten to take a picture of it.
The card base is Bordering Blue, I had a strip of Basic Black left over from another project and used it for the road, I tore four pieces of Whisper White for my snowdrifts and sponged them with Bordering Blue ink. Placed two drifts down, added my road, then added two more drifts on top of the road.
I stamped the truck, trailer and snowmobile on watercolor paper with Stazon and colored them with Watercolor Wonder Crayons (can't live without them) and an aqua painter. I cut the images out and used Dimensionals to pop them up.
The phrases are from On Your Birthday, the first is stamped with White Stazon and the second with Bordering Blue.

A Valentine for my Husband

A few weeks ago I showed my husband the Valentine I made with the truck from Loads of Love and asked him if it was masculine enough to be a man card. He said that it was a woman's idea of a mans card. So I asked what a man thinks a mans card is. He said one with boobs on. So here it is- my Mans card. The card base is Blush Blossom and the bikini is from Sending Love. The pattern is from this site. http://stampowl.blogspot.com/2008/01/panty-template.html I did add straps and a small heart on the butt. So I hope he likes his card.

Crazy for Cupcakes

I tried out the new punches from the Occasions mini on this card. There is a steep learning curve combining the corner as well as the edge on the same piece, so I did them on separate pieces and like the looks. (here is a link to a tutorial on the punches. http://gretchenbarron.typepad.com/my_weblog/2010/01/a-guide-to-the-pinking-hearts-border-and-corner-punches-and-a-n-sketch-card.html or a link to a Youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBQ6r3o5u_4&feature=player_embedded )
I stamped the image on Whisper White and colored it with the stampin up markers, I used Real Red, Pretty and Pink, Close to Cocoa, and Going Gray. I used Crystal Effects on the cherries to make them shine as well as raising them up a bit, it doesn't show in the photo,, but does in real life. I matted it on Basic Black that I used the Scallop Trim corner punch on. Layered it Whisper White that I used the same punch on. The base of this card is Real Red, I cut 1/4 inch off the bottom of the front and had the scallops down so that they lined up with the back piece. I used a piece of designer paper from Sending Love package I matted it on Basic Black and Whisper White, I used the scallop trim edge punch on one edge leaving the other straight.

Well Scripted-redo

These two cards show the changes I made on Friday and Saturday's cards. I added Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White butterflies, using the Beautiful Wings Sizzlit. On the other card I added another butterfly in Old Olive and Whisper White, I think it improved both cards. What do you think?

Vintage Vogue

My card isn't very vintage looking, but I like it. The card is Basic Black and Real Red. The bottom piece of Real Red has the vine randomly stamped in Stazon, I prefer Stazon to the Basic Black ink pad, I feel that Basic Black has too much under tones of purple. The top piece of Real Red has the vine done with Versamark for a tone on tone effect. I stamped the flowers and the F in Stazon on Real Red and cut them out, I popped them with dimensioals. Friend is stamped directly on the back ground. The flowers centers are Fire Rhinestone Brads.
My open house is this Thursday. Stop by and check out all that is going on, and have a piece of Tin Roof brownie, it's all good!
