Fun & Fast Notes-baby

Boy and girl baby cards, the designer paper was retired but I had cut 20 of each for my January 20 cards 20 designs Wednesday Stampin'. I decided that I would just let them stay until January 30. So one more Wednesday to go. The designer paper for both of these cards came from the Banbury pack (I'm really sad to see these go) the colors are Boy- Bashful Blue and Close to Cocoa, the girl- Pretty in Pink and Certainly Celery. There is a small colored safety pin pinned through each ribbon. Oops they retired this ribbon too:). These cards could be done with Tea Party or Bella Birds.

Lovely as a Tree- Birthday

I've loved this set for years and have had it on my to buy list, for some reason it has taken me until now to buy it.
This is for my 20 x 20 Wednesday class. I thought it makes a great masculine card.
The card base is Kraft CS, the oak tree was stamped on Glossy White CS, first with Versamark, the markers on the Vesrsamark, then clear embossing powder. The oak tree was layered on Handsome Hunter and then Night of Navy. The trees in the back ground were stamped with Handsome Hunter. I paper pierced on both sides of the Happy Birthday.
